I'm more concerned with a fun playable map then graphics, although I appreciate a detailed innovative map with a buy-able ending. I like a map with some maneuvering room, where we can find the power switch and Pack-a-Punch before the zombies get too bullet resistant.

Free Perkaholic - Gives you all perks registered on the map on spawn and after being revived. The Widows Wine Perk is a life saver.
Unlimited Perkaholic with Guns - Gives you 3 Pack-a-Punch guns with random cammo and all the main perks on spawn and after being revived. Very overpowered, excellent for exploring or complicated Easter eggs.
Unlimited Perkaholic - Gives you all the main perks on spawn and after being revived.
Fun Mode(Exo Movement version) - Main Features:
-Start with 100,000 points
- Pack-A-Punched guns right out of the box
-LOTS MORE ZOMBIES
-Faster Gameplay
-Exo Movement including Boosting and Wall Running has been enabled
Start with 500K points - You start the game with 500,000 points. Nothing else is changed and you lose all the perks you earn if you get knocked down.
It 's a great mod for exploring new maps.
Kill Confirmed in Zombies - Zombies drop tags when they are killed. The first player to collect 150 tags ends the game.
Multiplayer:
Frisbee Battle - Default weapon is a disc gun.
Specialist Only - Players spawn with specialist weapons only (default is the minigun).
To make players spawn with a random specialist weapon each time they respawn, type this in the console before starting the game:
/modvar random_weapon 1
If you join a server that is running a custom mod or map, Steam will automatically download and subscribe to it through the Steam Workshop.
If you want to manually download the maps or mods:
Right click on Call of Duty: Black Ops III in your Steam library and select View Community Hub.
Select the Workshop tab.
You can sort by most popular, top rated, most subscribed or most recent.
Select the file you are interested in to view the details and click on subscribe to download it.
To see the custom servers: press the B key after the game loads.
You need the full version of Black Ops 3 to play the custom maps but you don't need the DLC, however you won't be able to play any DLC maps.
If you load the Usermaps mod before launching a stock map, your server will show up to all Steam players in the Server Browser, not just your friends.

There are now over 1000 custom maps out. I recommend starting with the ones I've rated Excellent or Very Good. I've added Steam Workshop links to all the maps I rated good or better. All the maps rated very good or excellent have a link to a YouTube video about the map.

I had to move the spoilers to a separate post, since I exceeded the 20,000 character limit in the first post.
Extinct: The Last Compound -
Find 3 objects:
Skull, Worm, Summoning Key
Skull:
Go around and find little fuse boxes and hold square to activate them. There are 4 in total.
Once you're done with that the Nero poster should disappear and you should be able to grab the skull and place it on one of the 3 objects blocking the object in spawn.
Worm:
Go around and light all of the Beast Mode fountains with fire. There are 5 in total. Once done, you will hear an odd noise and the gateworm will spawn on a white wooden table near the first mystery box location, near stamina-up. Place the worm on the left table that is blocking the object in spawn.
Key:
The key is located on a bookshelf near one of the soul collector locations. When meleed, it will fly around and eventually land somewhere. Follow it and continue to melee it once it has landed until it lands on the box in spawn blocking the object behind the debris.
Once you get all 3 items to the thing in spawn, there will be a red tablet which you can unlock for $20,000 points. Once you do that, hit the activation button to end the game. A timer will start which will count down until bombs decimate the map, ending the game.

MAIN EASTER EGG
Secure the BigMac Secret Recipe and Escape!
Step 1: Get inside the Apartment room from balcony by shooting or knifing the sliding glass doors.
Step 2: Use the frag grenades on the table by the bed to open the safe in the bedroom - Grab the BigMac Recipe from inside of it!
Step 3: Go to the kitchen in McDonalds and open the freezer.
Step 4: Once inside the freezer, you (and your teammates if multiplayer) must deposit 15k into the manhole blocker.
Step 5: You must get past the pile of dirt blocking your escapes, get the shovel from the janitors closet in the apartment hallway.
Step 6: Once you dig out the dirt pile, you need to get past some solid rock. Pickup the thermite canister in the water where electric cherry is, it is at the bottom of the water in the first room.
Step 7: Once past the rock you're free to escape with the last remaining BigMac Recipe! Save up 56,000 and have all players be with you when escaping!
ROCKET SHIELD
Shield build table is in the spawn section, table will have tools and toolbox on it.
First part: First part has three spawns. 1 and 2 are both in front of the main counter inside McDonalds 3. On a chair in front of McDonalds bathrooms.
Second Part: Second part has three spawns. 1. Beside barricade with flaming cars(right side of map) 2. Inside apartment room by TV. 3. By mule kick (ice cream machine with flashing light above it).
Third Part: Third part is inside of the play place(playground) It has three different spawns, but you should run into it just going to pack-a-punch
BRAINNNS - FREE PERK
You must shoot all 3 brains to get a free perk
First location: In bathroom sink of teleporting apartment.

After filling Soul Orb in front of the house, throw about 40 grenades at the door to unlock it, or shoot the War Machine at the floor in front of it.
The puzzle answers for the tiles you can jump on are pennywise and 423131424.
